News from project CROWDFUNDMATCH
In the years 2012-2018, crowdfunding was one of the fastest growing financial tools in EU. An opportunity for young start-ups, the main source of financing for numberous gaming, sports and cultural initiatives. It allowed young, promising businesses to develop.
What is crowdfunding like now? How to use its investment potential and combine the money obtained with public funds? This questions shall be answered by the CROWDFUNDMATCH project, which the Secretariat for Youth is implementing on behalf of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, as the Polish project partner.
We are accompanied by stakeholders – West Pomeranian companies and institutions that can bring their experience to the project, evaluate some of the work’s effects and jointly benefit from the project’s outcomes.
One of the first products was a detailed analysis of the crowdfunding market in partnership regions finished with the reports we publish here. You’re welcome to download and read:
- Report on crowdfunding market in Poland (full Polish version): Crowdfunding w Polsce
- Joint report on crowdfunding markets in partnership countries (English version): Crowdfunding_JOINT REPORT_Assessment of partners crowdfunding markets_final
What’s next?
In the project we cooperate with partners from Italy, Slovenia, Spain, Greece, Belgium, the Netherlands, Lithuania and Romania.
In March 2024, we are taking West Pomeranian stakeholders to Extramadura Region to learn about the most interesting examples of cooperation between European crowdfunding platforms and regional /local governments. We will meet people who implemented the most inspiring initiatives financed jointly by crowdfunding and European public funds.
