Self-governing Forum

Samorządowe Forum Młodzieży (Self-governing Youth Forum) is an annual event organized by Secretariat for Youth. The event takes place in Kołobrzeg, in June. The participants are representatives of: youth councils of cities and municipalities, youth councils of Westpomeranian Region, associations and foundations, as well as other youth organizations.

The participants debate on what, from the youth point of view, is beneficial for the regional development. They focus on topics introduced by surveys conducted beforehand by the youth of environmental diagnosis. The forum results in the creation of recommendations, which are pitched to governmental authorities.
